The visit of Chinese president Xi Jinping in North Korea was of 2 days many major issue has been put up between the Xi Jinping and Kim Jong un. This was the first time a Chinese president have been there in meeting after 14 years, last meeting was held in 2005 back then president of China Hu Jintao. It was the first visit of Xi Jinping after coming in power in 2013, though they have met earlier in china and that too 4 times.
MAIN HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MEETING:
The meeting of two leader went quite well as, Kim sees this meeting a great opportunity to get back countries economy on a good pace as U.N have sanctioned the North Korea's trading because of testing there missiles and nuclear weapons on a repeated scale. As only China is left there ally in present time and can request in UN to up lift some of there sanction to track back the economy should grow in fair pace and the test of ballistic missile and/or other nuclear weapons won't happen in future. But the chances are likely to be low to uplift the sanctions on North Korea, China may help a little.
North Korea's major export are in China only providing minerals, fish, textiles, and also workers. Beijing is also main importer of goods for North Korea in industries and households because of the sanction all the trade between the two countries have been stalled.
China wants stability in North Korea and economic co-operation so that both nation can have better trade in between them and the nuclear deal which is being in halt because of the collapse of the Hanoi summit. Xi will ask the US president trump what went wrong in Hanoi summit at G20 summit 2019 which will take place in Osaka, Japan on 28-29 of June. According to the Chinese news paper the the meeting will lead to many new project between the two countries
