MAJOR GOVERNMENT SCHEME OF 2019

Here are some major government scheme of both central and state government:


  •  Pravasi Teerth Darshan Yojana on 22nd of January 2019 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The group of Indian diaspora (the dispersion or spread of any people from their original homeland) will be taken on a government sponsored tour of religious places in India twice a year. The first batch of 40 Indian-origin people are at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas and from here they will begin their tour. They will be taken to religious places of all major religions in India and the government will bear all the expenses including the airfare from their country of residence.All people of Indian-origin aged 45 to 65 can apply and a group will be selected out of them with first preference given to people from Girmitiya countries such as Mauritius, Fiji, Suriname, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, and Jamaica. 
  • Pravasi Dividend Pension Scheme planned to be launced by the government of Kerala provide regular pension to Non-Resident Keralites on a one-time payment of Rs 5 lakh. Governor P. Sathasivam announced this on 25th of January 2019. The one-time payment of Rs 5 lakh will be deposited with KIIFB (Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board) for financing infrastructure projects. 
  • Yuva Swabhiman Yojana Introduced by the Madhya Pradesh Government in the year 2019. The scheme intends to provide monthly financial assistance to unemployed graduates in the state. The applicant should be the resident of the state of Madhya Pradesh. The applicant age should be between 21 and 30 years of age. The primary objective of the scheme is to increase the employment opportunities among the unemployed youth in urban areas and placing them in the different department of State Government.
  • Rythu Raksha Scheme provides financial assistance to farmers in Andhra Pradesh. The State Government provides financial support of Rs. 10,000 per acre every year to the farmers. This sum is split into two installments of Rs. 5000, which is offered to farmers during the beginning of both the Kharip and Rabi seasons. The agricultural funding given to the farmers is directly deposited to the beneficiary’s bank account. The funds provided by the scheme can be used for the upcoming sowing season, purchase seeds, fertilisers and to pay labour charges.
  • Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh launched School Fagat-Hansi mission, an initiative under the Government's popular 'Go to Village' mission. The scheme has been introduced with an ambitious objective to give renewed thrust towards the improvement of government schools both in terms of physical and manpower infrastructure. All the government schools in 60 Assembly Constituencies of the state will be developed as model schools in the first phase under the mission. All these schools would be run and developed in a uniform pattern.
  • The State Government of Maharashtra has launched the Atal Solar Krishi Pump Yojana (ASKP) for farmers with a subsidy of up to 95 per cent on solar pumpsets. The State plans to install one lakh solar pumps. To encourage farmers to use solar agriculture pumps, the Maharashtra government has decided to give two LED bulbs, a DC fan and a mobile charging socket as freebies and to reduce losses due to non-payment of electricity bills. Farmers with less than five acres will have to pay 5 per cent of the cost of a 3 HP solar pump while farmers with more than five acres will get a 5 HP solar pump and the sops.
  • The Madhu Babu Pension Yojana (MBPY) is a pension scheme introduced in the Indian State of Odisha with the objective of providing financial assistance to the destitute elderly and destitute differently abled persons in the state or the disabled, old age persons in the state of Odisha, India
