Karnataka Political Crisis explanation
Karnataka is going through a political crisis. The coalition government between Congress, JD(s) (Janta Dal-Secular) and individual which was formed on 31st May 2018 after the result declaration of Karnataka election with a 105 seat acquisition in Karnataka legislative assembly and made HD Kumarswamy as the new CM of Karnataka he is from JD(s)
13 MLA of both the party Congress and JD(s) has given their resignation to the speaker K.R Ramesh Kumar.
Let us see the reason for the collapse.
The Congress Side
Congress is blaming the BJP for all the current scenario which is going in the Karnataka politics.
They accused B.S Yeddyurappa the Cheif Minister candidate from BJP and party president of Karnataka state for offering money to the JD(s) leader to form a government with BJP. As they have a recording in Yeddyurappa offering 10 crores for MLAs resignation
Congress member also accused of the staying of MLAs in Mumbai's five-star hotel was all arranged and funded by BJP and BJP MLA accompanying them supporting them like Arvind Limbavali
They also stated that Governor of Karnataka Vajubhai Vala had never met with leaders of Congress and JD(s) but he met with all BJP leaders on 16th of May 2018 and he also tried to trade votes for BJP.
The BJP Side
BJP, on the other hand, blaming the coalition government can't take the governance of the state for 5 years because of the different ideologies between both the parties. Which was formed under to just come in power without any similar ideological thoughts?
The coalition government has also failed to people of Karnataka. Many MLAs won't come in the legislative assembly and the maximum was on holidays. Even the CM Kumaraswamy was enjoying holidays in the US and recently came after the issue.
Congress made Kumaraswamy CM of Karnataka just because they want BJP to not come in power
Union Minister Prahlad Joshi claimed that former Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah is responsible for the present political crisis in the state.
Siddaramaiah is the scriptwriter of the present political crisis in Karnataka because he does not want anyone from former Prime Minister Deve Gowda's family to become the chief minister of the state. He wants to curb the alternative leadership of G Parameswara in the Congress party.
Conclusion
The JD(s) also sees this as an opportunity to form a government with a party in central power. This can be a reason why a mass resignation we observed in the past few days of MLA.
The coalition government would be much more stabilized if the CM candidate would be from the Congress party rather than JD(s)
BJP sees this an opportunity to enter in Southern Indian politics as there hold on southern India is very not up to like North India so the collapse of the current coalition government may benefit both JD(s) and BJP.
Let see if the Karnataka stood up with BJP and JD(s) coalition or a fresh election
