Here are some important current affairs of the week and up-to the month of June:
- The Ministry of Environment launched a song "Hawa Aane De" on the occasion of world environment day on 5th of June. Secretary of Ministry of Environment, Forest and climate change launched this song in presence of actor Shekar Suman and singer Shaan. The aim was to spread awareness regarding the environment.
- On 10th June US president Donald Trump imposed 5% tariff on Mexico which will increase slowly until the illegal immigration problem is solved. The tariff will be imposed on all goods coming from Mexico.
- The IAF and ISRO signed a agreement to train and select the crew for the Gaganyaan mission. It was launched by PM Narendra Modi on August 15th 2018 with budget of Rs 10,000 crore. The agreement for training and selection of crew is signed between Air Vice Marshall (AVM) RGK Kapoor, Assistant Cheif of Air Staff (ACAS) operation, IAF and Shri R Hutton, Project Director of Gaganyaan mission, it is schedule to be launched in December of 2021. ISRO had set up the human spaceflight center at it's all headquarters in Bengaluru on January of 30
- The SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) India ND South Asia Conference was helt at St. Regis Mumbai. It was organized had hosted by the SWIFT. The theme of the conference was "Digitatisation in Transaction" and innovation in cyber security in near future. The conference saw the participation of 500 delegates.
- Jammu and Kashmir Government launched Healthcare Investment Policy-2019. The decision taken on March 8th, 2019. In which private entrepreneurs our encourage to invest in health sector to improve health facilities by providing 30% subsidy for capital invesment in hospital, medical college, para medical college.
- 10th National Science Film Festival of India (NSFFI) is to be held in Agartala, Tripura in January-February 2020. This is the second time election will be held in north-eastern city after the request of the state CM Biplab Kumar Deb to Union Science and Technology Minister to hold thr NSFFI in Tripura. Minimum 10 countries will going to be participant film produced on UNICEF, UNESCO and other countries filmmaker. It will be hosted by the vigyan prasar of central government, state government and Tripura central University.
- India origin Anita Bhatia has bee appointed as Deputy Executive Director of UN-Women by the United nation Secretary General Antonio Guterres. The main aim of the agency is women empowerment and gender equality.
- PM Narendra Modi government has launched new ministry called "Jal Shakti" which will be head by Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, parlimentarian of Jodhpur after defeating the son of CM Ashok Ghelot, Vaibhav Ghelot. Ministry of Drinking water and Sanitation has also been added to it.
- Every year on 1st June the Global Milk Day is being observed with the theme of "Drink Milk: Today and Everyday" with aim to provide importance of milk on our health. It is being held since 2001 by Food and Agriculture Organisation.
- Former Indian President Pratibha Patil has been conferred the "Orden Mexicana del Aguila Aztec" is the highest civillian award of Mexico given to foreigner, on 1st June 2019 for being first women president of India
- Russia has rejected the Iranian request to but S-400 missile defence systems, as the tension in middle east is high and it will only increase it.
- Infosys, Technology Giant has acuired 75% stake of Dutch bank. It was acquired for $144 million in cash and 25% hold will be of ABN AMRO
- Nayib Bukele is elected as the new president of El Salvador . The 37 year old former mayor of san salvador, who won more votes than all other candidates in the februray presidential election, brought an end to a two-party system that held sway over the decades.

- Rajasthan government has increased the financial assistance given to school girls under the 'Apki Beti" scheme and ex-gratia payment to the families of polling personnel who die during election duty
