After the imposition of law to localize the countries data on the foreign companies, India is the latest entrant to impose this law and joining the squad of  data localisation. Doing this local government will take data from the foreign companies which will help them to track there citizens interest and records, but this would be a major disadvantage for the USA as in today's world where data has its own place when it comes to power which will make the local countries like India who have impose the law of localization of on foreign companies will make them more and more powerful only. So in this scenario USA doesn't want to loose his power and hold on the data.

So they have decided to retaliate the law by restricting the H-1B visa of Indians to 15% . USA has warn India to caps the H-1B visas for the countries having law of localizing of data

WHAT IS H-1B VISA?

H-1B is a visa in the United State which allow the USA based employers to employ foreign workers with a set of specialized knowledge in something, bachelor's degree or a work experience in any specialized field. The duration of  stay is three years which can be extended to 6 years after that person has to renewal his or her visa. Employers must withhold the Social Security and Medicare taxes from there salary employees under H-1B status.

After seeing all this scenario India will lead to a huge downfall in the IT sector and IT professional and India's major GDP comes from IT sector  which is to be consider Indian GDP backbone. If the US government impose this decision Indian IT professional would face major issue in renewing there visas and not only the IT professionals but also the IT firms like TCS who serve there foreign client may face issues. Currently 70% H-1B visas goes to Indians from 85,000 visas which are granted annually

One of the major cause can be the on going tariff war between the two nation as India is going to increase tariff on some of the product which are imported from USA like almonds from Monday. As a warning for tit for tat tariff
