INDIA MAY HAVE IT'S OWN SPACE STATION IN 6-7 YEARS


As per the chairman of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) K. Sivan India may launch its own space station program after successfully completion of Gaganyaan Mission in 2022. This will be the extension of the Gaganyaan Mission- India’s first manned in space mission. The space station may weigh about 20 ton and is able to accommodate astronauts for 15-20 days in the space station.

The space station will most likely to conduct micro-gravity experiment in space and it will not be a collaboration project with other countries it is fully to be an Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) development. Many countries like US, China, Russia also have had a space station and now a group of nation owns the International Space Station (ISS).

Once the Gaganyaan Mission is successfully done then only ISRO will plane for the space station project. Further ISRO to launch two new project on study of Sun and Venus.
