Which define as there should be three languages which are English,Hindi and any other modern Indian language like Bengali,Malayalam,Tamil and other regional languages. Seeing this scenario south Indian parties like DMK of Tamil Nadu on 1st June has opposed this policy saying that "it was a tantamount to thrusting Hindi". It was also opposed by many party which are MNS party of  Raj Thackeray in Maharashtra one of there candidate Anil Shidore saying that  'हिंदी राष्ट्रीय भाषा नहीं, हमारे माथे पर मत थोपो...'  which means Hindi is not a national language just don't impose it on our head .

Many other politicians like Shashi Tharoor saying that " no one in north learning Malayalam  and Tamil". As per Shashi Tharoor the hindi language is being spread in south and there native language is not being spread in the north as the child will learn the Hindi language he/she will loose respect for it's native language.

We're democracy and it is not a good thing to giving importance to one language, all language are equal in there own way.
