Nepal is making mandarin language compulsory in its private and government school. Chinese government has taken all the responsibility to provide high salary to the mandarin teacher Nepal just have to look after the accommodation like staying and food of the teacher. Seeing this Chinese company will bring many project to the Nepal and Nepal has already given its hydropower project to Chinese government.

However, as per the guidelines laid down by the Curriculum Development Centre (CDC), a government body which designs school-level academic curriculum, schools in Nepal are allowed to teach foreign languages, but they cannot make those subjects mandatory for students and also, as per the CDC rules, schools are not allowed to teach any foreign language within school hours.

It is a huge setback for India as the Indo-Nepal relation were good because our culture being same and language was also been quite similar as both Hindi and Nepali are of same script Devanagari but as the china is influencing Nepal to learn mandarin we can lost the ties with our neighboring country.
